The Royal Cambridge Hotel were delighted to be able to welcome members of the EF Language School, Cambridge to the hotel for an evening of hospitality.
Education First (EF) is an international education company specialising in language training with 50 campuses around the world. Two of those are located within the colleges of the University of Cambridge.
General Manager of the Royal Cambridge Hotel, Stewart Rushton, and Sales Consultant, Tim Rosamond, hosted five members of the EF team for dinner and drinks at 6 Scroope Terrace Restaurant and Bar, located within the Royal Cambridge Hotel.
Stewart said: “I’d like to thank Mari, Eva and their team for joining us at the Royal Cambridge Hotel. It’s always great to be able to showcase the great food and beverage that we have to offer.
“The taster menu from chef gave a really good sample of the delicious food on our current menu and was complimented exquisitely by a great selection of wine.”
The evening finished with the guests sampling some of the gins from hotel’s in-house Gin Palace. The undoubted favourite being Saffron Gin, which is a French concoction of London Dry Gin, spices from India and a little French ‘know-how’ to give it a unique flavour.
Stewart added: “Our bar manager also demonstrated the range of gins in our Gin Palace, recommending a delicious Saffron Gin from France. Unsurprisingly, she’s French and very proud of her nation’s gin.
“Overall, it was a fantastic evening and I look forward to enhancing the relationship further over the coming year.”
