The Royal Cambridge Hotel had a wonderful Christmas and New Year with record-breaking numbers of guests visiting the hotel.
From Festive Party Nights and Lunches to Christmas Day Dinner and a spectacular New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner, there were more than 3,000 diners eating and drinking at the Royal Cambridge Hotel during the five-week festive period.
Along with the incredible numbers of people, the hotel served 6,000 slices of turkey, 30,000 Brussel sprouts, poured 1,250 pints of beer and almost a thousand measures of Gin from the on-site Gin Palace.
The feedback received throughout was equally as impressive with attendees talking the “lovely food”, “amazing service” and that their outings were a “great success”.
General Manager at the Royal Cambridge Hotel, Stewart Rushton, was delighted with positive feedback and equally pleased with how the Christmas period went for the hotel. He said: “Christmas is always the most hectic time of the year for us, but everything ran as smoothly as it possibly could.
“I thought the team were excellent and that’s reflected in the vast amount of positive feedback we’ve received.”
It’s non-stop in the hospitality industry as plans are already being put into place for Christmas and New Year 2019. Prices and packages will be set in the coming weeks as enquiries and bookings are already starting to be received.
“It’s very pleasing that people like celebrating Christmas with us – in whatever capacity – and that’s clear when we have people enquiring about this year already. It’s up to us to keep doing what we do well and trying to make 2019 even better.”
Some of the feedback received can be seen below and the Royal Cambridge Hotel would like to thank everyone who visited the hotel in 2018 and look forward to seeing them again in 2019.
“I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your team for all your help and support in making our Christmas party such a great success. A good time was had by all.”
