The Royal Cambridge Hotel has renewed their AIM accreditation from the Meetings Industry Association (MIA).

After first earning the acclaim in 2017, the hotel renewed their application in late 2018 which was successfully approved by the UK’s nationally recognised standard for service providers in the meetings, conferences and events industry.

An initial panel of independent industry experts assessed the hotel against a robust checklist of criteria, including legal compliance, accessibility and quality checks of facilities as well as its customer service proposition and experience, ethical codes of conduct and best practice standards.

Stewart Rushton, General Manager at The Royal Cambridge Hotel, was pleased with the hotel’s renewed entry status. He said: “All accolades are well received, but one from an organisation such as the MIA is fantastic.

“The MIA are so highly regarding in the meetings and events industry that not having this accreditation would feel like a backward step and that’s not something we want.”

Consisting of five fully-equipped conference rooms, The Royal Cambridge Hotel has made significant improvement in recent years to meet the ever-increasing demands of business customers.
